Simcity 1.1.638 Update

RFID and Management, a winning

What is RFID?
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a valid alternative to barcodes. The advantage of RFID systems is that they do not require direct contact or manual scan on a player.
An RFID system consists of three components: an antenna and receiver that are usually integrated into a reader (or gun) and a tag (or transponder) and as a label can be placed on any object.
The antenna of the reader uses radio frequency waves to transmit a signal to the Tag. When activated, the tag transmits the information to the antenna.
The uniqueness of RFID tags is that it can contain much more information than barcode and label application solutions will no longer be directed only to the logistics, but will have a range much wide.
In fact, although still rather early stages of adoption and deployment, RFID systems are already extremely promising to reveal retailers, manufacturers, logistics companies, healthcare organizations and new application areas which we would never have thought of.
To realize the potential of RFID solutions, I suggest you visit the site http://www.rfiditalia.com/ where you can find documentation of case histories and some ideas for the application of this new technological tool.
From a management perspective, RFID tags can store on a lot more information than Code barcode and this will enable information systems to optimize and broaden the analysis of the items sold or in stock. These tests will enable organizations to reduce the uncertainties related to inventory, increase efficiency in logistics, take advantage of corporate resources and above all improve service for customers.
time frame the barcode will not disappear in a short time, indeed some say that RFID and bar codes are to coexist in some cases because they have different functions, but I think that given the benefits of RFID companies should as first evaluate the projects on which substantial development permit dei loro sistemi informativi.
