Battista Pergolesi and Rossini

not imagine that difficult to find and choose a good run! Ten minutes and even ends, but I think it is sufficient to carry out my experiment relationship between music and painting.

[Since I posted that the movie was initially removed, I put another: this is the first movement. I do not like too much, but basically what interests me is the song in itself, before the execution, and that in filmato non ci siano carrellate di quadri a caso che distoglierebbero l'attenzione da quelli che propongo io.]

Undoubtedly beautiful , proposes a concert of sacred music. Again, as in Rossini (but much less ), we work secularized in many of its parts, in which the style of Baroque music worldly influences a song that, although rooted in the very popular sensibilities, remains a liturgical text.

is instead the work of artists who appartengolo roughly the same era:

Luca Giordano (1634 - 1705). Resurrection of Christ.

Penitent Magdalene crowned.

Carlo Maratta (1625 - 1713). Vergine col Bambino.

Santa Famiglia.

Carlo Cignani (1628 - 1719). Gesù Adolescente.

Vergine col Bambino.

Francesco Trevisan (1656 - 1746).

Non manca il riferimento, a seconda della scuola di appartenenza, to classicism Carracci / Titian (Cignani, Crete, Trevisan), the influences of Rubens (Maratta), and Caravaggio (Jordan).

what I want to see these artists is that the secularization resulting in them both classicism, that of joining the real data (so that both the Carracci Caravaggio ). It 's a typical concept of Western painters from Giotto onwards that given the proximity to the real you can find the best proximity to True, but this goes against what the medieval art and the art of the show: the true reality, the Ultimate Reality, the Divine Life, transcend the real "visual".
And I'm not certain forms of idealized classicism or golden light of the c-post- aravaggismo Caravaggio that hit the scene (things that look a bit 'in all the paintings that I presented above and show "effect" a purely physical nature) to make Transcendence: Sure, I can tell or remember, can be an expression of ' allegory that allows the intellect to grasp something, but do not show in its presence. By the icons
I realized how the 'sacred art needs to prune those things that bind to a vision from the bottom up: we can not enslave God to our imagination, or to natural events. Lower God within our reach does not make justice, not the honors. Faith is not a thought or a philosophy! Faith does not just pass through our senses but we are given from above, a gift that goes beyond our psychophysical ego! And
'Life Divine sanctifies matter, has not corrected that men, on the contrary, profanity subservience to the field through effects and sentimentality: this does not increase the brightness, but it tarnishes.
And this is true for painting for the music ...

cabins NUCLEAR HOT LINE OF GREENPEACE Spring

In the morning today so many onlookers and supporters came to Bari in the cabins "Nuclear Hotline "Greenpeace's , set up by the volunteers of Bari and Lecce . The activity continued until Sunday, 21 to 19 .
Everyone could call the toll-free number 800,864,884 and leave messages against nuclear power, that Greenpeace will deliver to the next candidate regional elections of 28 and 29 March.
Funny, English-style cabins are the symbol of the voice of the people towards the politicians who want to silence this important issue and postpone it until after the election, for reasons of propaganda.

Greenpeace has already raised more than 49mila signatures against nuclear site www.nuclearlifestyle.it
Until the elections will also be possible to continue to make free calls (either fixed or mobile) the toll 800,864,884 and leave your message.

The Italian government wants to impose nuclear power is a dangerous waste of time and a false solution to climate change. Nuclear power will not save Venice, or rather prevent and condemn Italy to invest in real solutions to climate change: renewable and efficiency.

The government's nuclear plans are to create at least four nuclear power stations will cost to Italy only to the construction, each between 5 and € 6 billion and will not be activated until a decade. If Italy will focus on nuclear power to meet its European targets to reduce emissions to 2020 and will waste resources that could instead invest in clean technology and efficiency, real solutions readily available.

While the government with the Law 99/2009 to bypass the jurisdiction of regions in the energy sector, some candidates, including Polverini, Zaia Formigoni and approve the plans pro-nuclear government. Hard to believe that then oppose a power plant in their region despite the electorate now declare "no need" of nuclear power in the regions where they occur. Candidates for regional

should say a clear NO to the government's nuclear plans. Saying that "are not needed" in their regions but also support nuclear power at the national level means making fun of the people and prepare them for the surprise of a nuclear power after the elections.

Certificate No. 000358 / The human cost of nuclear catastrophe

This is a photo exhibition about the devastating effects of nuclear power in Russia: Chernobyl ', Semipalatinks, Tomsk-7, Mayak

"On 26 April 2010 marks the twenty-fourth anniversary of the biggest nuclear disaster in human history, the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear reactor ', Russia. Russia is a major player on the world stage for the development of the nuclear industry, but its History is full of serious accidents in nuclear waste management contrary to any law of environmental protection. Millions of people suffer the consequences of exposure to nuclear radiation.
The pictures show the devastating impact that nuclear power has in a country where Chernobyl 'is unfortunately not the only case of nuclear accident. Beyond Chernobyl ', the locations photographed are Semipalatinks East Kazakhstan - the main nuclear test site of the Soviet Union, Tomsk-7, where in 1993 an explosion at a nuclear plant has contaminated a number of villages within a 200 km2; Mayak, south east of the Urals, strategic site for the production of nuclear weapons, one of the least safe and most polluted in the world. "

We look forward to starting at 18: oo on February 18, until midnight on February 20 nel Foyer del Teatro Kursaal

E’ davvero sorprendente che il governo della Regione e la Fondazione Banco di Sicilia non abbiano alimentato alcun dibattito sulla prevista soppressione del Banco di Sicilia" "

Magnifier For Bushnell Trophy Red Dot

painting in the early eighteenth century and early nineteenth-century painters

is a prime example of relations between the various artistic disciplines of music and art. I chose to begin with, the Kyrie from Petite Messe Solennelle of Gioachino Rossini (1792 - 1868); of his vast work of composition extrapolates only what interests us, namely, its sacred production: a kyrie of this Mass who wrote towards the end of his life (1863).
should be noted that this "song" is conceived in a very concert : Even the use of a piano beginning, makes its implementation within the Christian church at least difficult. I have no idea if this setup has never been performed for a liturgy itself ... As part of Rossini

anti-romantic, although it can be placed in an age already fully nineteenth century, it seems better to compare it with sacred works by painters of the previous generation. I do not know if this is right , but probably the Restoration (and Neoclassicism) and Rossini have nothing to do with each other, is the production sacred that unites them. Therefore some alternate images of sacred art, from the beginning and the first half 800.

What I wonder is only look taking pictures as the background music by Rossini ... as if the image corresponded to the sacred liturgy is sung. From here we will see to what extent is the secularization at the time, and we will have an 'idea' (as "purely aesthetic " that is) the Church age, hearing the sound of painting and giving image to sound.

GREENPEACE DISTRIBUTING PILLS IN BARI POST NUCLEAR ACCIDENT

If nuclear power back into our country, the new Italian Nuclear Security Agency should also plan the same distribution in Italy. The volunteers of the organization inviting citizens to sign a petition online at www.nuclearlifestyle.it - to ask candidates to regional opposed to nuclear power.

As the government continues not to declare where they intend to build new nuclear power plants, Greenpeace distributed the fake pills in cities in all Italian regions, wherever a power plant was built, the population would have to resign to live with the risks of nuclear power.

iodide potassium that is released in France serves to saturate the thyroid iodine, reducing the risk of absorbing iodine-131, a radioactive element that is emitted from nuclear accident. The pills reduce the risk of thyroid but provide no protection against other radioactive elements such as cesium-137, strontium-90, plutonium-239 and others that may accompany the fallout of a nuclear disaster. What

risk to health is one of the problems of nuclear energy: nuclear power is expensive, dangerous and the problem of disposing of nuclear waste remains unresolved. Despite this, the current government intends to impose nuclear power to Italian citizens who, as usual, will pay salt this madness.
Nuclear power must therefore be a major theme of the forthcoming elections of 28 and 29 March. To put pressure on candidates to the regional Greenpeace launches a dedicated website: www.nuclearlifestyle.it -where citizens can interact and sign the petition against nuclear power. Candidates in the upcoming regional elections must publicly declare their position on nuclear and tell their voters, clearly and without any reluctance, if they are willing to accept a nuclear power plant within the region who wish to govern.
