Last week I did not write anything because I allowed myself a little trip: Rome and then Sorrento (Naples and Benevento). Well, I went to Rome to meet friends and talk to them to work (and see me for the exhibition of Caravaggio ); Sorrento I was a guest at a friend's sister who I met in the course of the last Sogliano iconography. And in a turn and the other in Campania felix, I could not help but put his hand the great Trinity (three meters, approximately!) That is painting with the students in the bottom of the chapel.
The icon is already there, and replaces an earlier image of the same size and the same person who Sister Daniela years ago as he painted his first icon in a completely self-taught (which courage!). Now, after several courses with Giancarlo, has increased the need to rewrite it according to the techniques and colors more accurate. Even as a little 'you and the students of the workshop "The Trinity " worked on various parts of the image that gradually took shape and color. The desire is to finish it (as much as possible!) For the day of Trinity of this 2010, May 30. 
passing by, with great joy that I agreed to do something too. I climbed up a ladder resting on the benches and, while from dominating the entire chapel ... 
barely reaches faces. However I managed to work the hair of the three angels: I did not believe, but I took a whole afternoon ! 
So I've been there in silence to work for a while ', literally suspended " between heaven and earth." Those physical in the sense that I was just high! ... And those spiritual , perhaps because, as is noted in the first picture of the post, in the wall below the icon, right behind the door made the figure of the calf in the cup, this is the Holy . 
Approximately up to my knees, constant presence, a fair, full, with whom I had to do all afternoon ... Height knees, of course, but in fact heart to heart! 
Here, the Trinity by Rublev, time of sunset ... With a few strokes more, but yet to finish: away already seems over, but there is still much work to do. But I have to end of my stay.
